Zanele Shezi (Diploma Agriculture) – Senior Community Facilitator

Zanele is a Senior Community Facilitator with a National Diploma in Agricultural Management which she obtained from UNISA. She is currently studying her postgraduate diploma in land and agrarian studies at the University of the Western Cape – Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS). She has extensive experience working as an agricultural development facilitator, having worked with rural farmers for over ten years in a variety of settings, and has an excellent understanding of rural small-scale agricultural systems and the socio-cultural context in which rural agriculture occurs. Zanele has skills in facilitation, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), multi stakeholder engagements, local institutional settings and governance.
