He holds a National Diploma in Agricultural Management, majoring in Animal and Plant production, and is currently reading towards an Advanced Diploma in the same field through the University of South Africa. In addition, he has a level 5 certificate for a Training of Trainers course by Amanzi for Food through Rhodes University, learning rainwater harvest and conservation practices. Mfundo recently graduated from a 3-year NRM Groen Sebenza Internship under DUZI UMNGENI CONSERVATION TRUST. During his internship, he coordinated and facilitated education and training and later project management. Mfundo will be supporting agricultural projects at the INR, working towards creating climate change resilience and adaptation through conservation agriculture.
